Bali Beach Clubs Compared: Entry, Prices and Sunsets

Bali's beach clubs compared from their own websites: free entry or day pass, daybed prices, age rules, and which shores actually face the sunset.

By the Bali Frontier editorial team · 9 min read · Updated 18.09.2026

Bali’s beach clubs sell very different things under the same name. Some let you walk in free and charge for a bed; others sell a day pass, tickets to a DJ night or a minimum spend per guest. This page compares eleven of them, from Canggu and Seminyak to the cliffs of the Bukit and the coast near Tanah Lot, using only what each club publishes on its own website. We read those sites on 18 September 2026, and every price below is copied as the club prints it, in rupiah.

We have not ranked the clubs, and we do not rate them. What we add is the part no club states about itself: how far each one sits from the airport, and which way its shore faces, which decides whether the sun goes down over the water.

The clubs side by side

The table runs from the closest to Ngurah Rai airport to the farthest: Ku De Ta is 6.8 km away in a straight line and Luna Beach Club is 15.3 km. A straight line is not a drive, and south Bali traffic can make a short distance slow; our airport transfers guide covers the real journey. The area column links to our guide for staying in that part of the island.

“Not published” means exactly that: we looked on the club’s own pages and found no figure. It does not mean free.

What it costs to get in

Entry works in six different ways across these clubs, so the headline price rarely compares like with like.

  • Free to walk in: Finns Beach Club and La Brisa. Potato Head Beach Club is free except in a set window around sunset, when a cover charge applies.
  • Day pass: Atlas Beach Club (Rp 300.000) and Sundays Beach Club (IDR 800K).
  • Tickets: Savaya, sold for its events.
  • A minimum spend for every guest: El Kabron.
  • Nothing published on entry: Ku De Ta, Mari Beach Club, Single Fin and Luna Beach Club.
Of the day passes, Atlas Beach Club's is the lower at Rp 300.000. Sundays Beach Club's adult pass is IDR 800K, but Rp 500.000 of that is food and drink credit, so the part you cannot eat or drink is Rp 300.000, the same as Atlas Beach Club's whole pass.

Booked seats are harder still to compare, because the clubs price them in different units. The lowest seat prices published are counted per bed at Finns Beach Club and Mari Beach Club, per table at Atlas Beach Club and La Brisa and per person at El Kabron. A bed for six at one club and a per-person sofa at another are not the same purchase, so we list each club’s figure with its unit and capacity rather than line them up.

Adults only or family friendly

Age rules split the list more sharply than price.

  • Adults only or a minimum age: Finns Beach Club (adults only), Atlas Beach Club (16+) and Savaya (21+). Savaya sets the highest age, 21.
  • Children allowed in some areas only: El Kabron.
  • Children welcome: La Brisa, Potato Head Beach Club, Ku De Ta, Sundays Beach Club and Luna Beach Club.
  • No policy published: Mari Beach Club and Single Fin.

Welcome does not mean the whole site: Luna closes its slide to under-18s after 1pm and keeps an adults-only zone. The fact box for each club quotes its own wording.

Which clubs face the sunset

Many people choose a club for the sunset, and here geography does the sorting. At Bali’s latitude the sun sets between 246° and 294° from north over a year, that is, between west-south-west in December and west-north-west in June. We took the shoreline in front of each club from OpenStreetMap, worked out which way it faces, and checked on every day of the year whether the sunset falls on the sea side of it.

ClubShore facesSun sets over the sea
Savayasouth (183°)On 197 of 365 days; not in April, May, June, July and August
Sundays Beach Clubsouth-south-west (192°)On 244 of 365 days; not in May, June, July and August
Finns Beach Clubsouth-west (221°)All year
Atlas Beach Clubsouth-west (222°)All year
La Brisasouth-west (227°)All year
Luna Beach Clubsouth-west (227°)All year
Mari Beach Clubsouth-west (229°)All year
Ku De Tawest-south-west (237°)All year
Single Finwest-south-west (242°)All year
Potato Head Beach Clubwest-south-west (247°)All year
El Kabronwest-north-west (286°)All year

Nine of the eleven clubs face water at sunset all year. The exceptions are Savaya and Sundays Beach Club, on the south-facing coast of the Bukit, where the sun sets on the land side in the middle of the year. Sundays says as much in its own FAQ: the sun begins to set behind the clifftop in the late afternoon, so it recommends coming early for the sun.

This is a check on the direction of the shore, not a view survey: a headland, a cliff or a building can still block the horizon at any club. It does tell you which clubs’ shores face the sunset and which do not.

How we checked

Every fact in the boxes comes from the club’s own website or its own booking page, read on 18 September 2026; each box lists the pages. Where a club’s pages disagreed with each other, as Mari’s two price lists and Savaya’s two sets of weekday hours do, we say so rather than choose. For the clubs we read no review sites and used no ratings.

Two old addresses are traps: labrisabali.com (without a hyphen) now shows an unrelated restaurant, and lunabeachclub.com is a domain for sale. The clubs’ real sites are labrisa-bali.com and lunabeachclubbali.com.

Distances are straight lines from the airport to each club’s position in OpenStreetMap. The direction each shore faces comes from the OpenStreetMap coastline, and the sunset directions from the standard solar formula for Bali’s latitude. Prices, hours and policies change, and clubs update them without notice, so confirm on the club’s own site before you go. For the beaches themselves, see our guide to Bali’s beaches.

Frequently asked questions

Which beach clubs in Bali are free to enter?+

When we checked the clubs' own websites on 18 September 2026, Finns Beach Club and La Brisa, both in Canggu, said entry is free, with charges only for booked beds and premium tables. Potato Head in Seminyak was free to enter outside a 4pm to 6:30pm window, when it charged an IDR 200,000 cover redeemable for selected drinks. Atlas and Sundays sold day passes, Savaya sold event tickets, and El Kabron applied a minimum spend to every guest.

How much is a beach club day pass in Bali?+

On 18 September 2026 Atlas Beach Club in Canggu published a Day Pass at Rp 300.000, including a welcome drink, pool access and a towel. Sundays Beach Club in Ungasan published a walk-in Daily Beach Pass at IDR 800K for adults, of which IDR 500K is food and drink credit, and IDR 400K for children aged 5 to 11, with under-5s free. Other clubs sell daybeds or tables with a minimum spend instead of a pass.

Which Bali beach clubs face the sunset?+

The shore from Nyanyi Beach near Tanah Lot down through Canggu and Seminyak faces south-west to west-south-west, and the west side of the Bukit at El Kabron and Single Fin faces west, so by our calculation the sun sets over the sea there all year. Savaya and Sundays sit on the south-facing coast of the Bukit, where for part of the year the sun goes down over land; Sundays' own FAQ says the sun begins to set behind its clifftop around 4:30pm to 5pm.

Can children go to beach clubs in Bali?+

It depends on the club. On 18 September 2026 Finns said it is adults only, Atlas said it is strictly 16+, and Savaya said it enforces 21+. El Kabron allowed children in its restaurant but kept its pool, dance floor and Sunset Theater for over-18s. Potato Head, Ku De Ta, La Brisa, Sundays and Luna all said children are welcome, and Ku De Ta described a kids' pool 95cm deep.

Do Bali beach club prices include tax and service?+

Not always, and the clubs say so in different ways. El Kabron marks prices with ++ and adds a 10% service charge and 10% government tax. La Brisa's minimum spends exclude an 8% service charge and 10% tax. Atlas's FAQ says its prices are inclusive, with nothing added. Check the club's own page for the seat you book.

Is there a dress code at Bali beach clubs?+

Several clubs publish one. Atlas and Savaya ask for smart casual, and Savaya bans beer-branded singlets, cut-offs and sportswear. Finns asks for smart casual and bans matching group outfits and costumes. El Kabron allows beachwear by the pool but not in its restaurant or Sunset Theater. Potato Head says it has no dress code, and Single Fin lets you dress freely apart from alcohol-branded shirts.
