Private or shared in Canggu

Nearly everything here is private or capped at a small number, because the format demands it: a surf lesson, a cooking class and a silversmithing bench do not scale. The one to check is the temple day, where the price difference between private and shared is large and the shared version stops for longer at each site.

What lands on the bill later

Tanah Lot entrance is excluded on the regular option of at least one listing, and included only on the upgraded one.
The class-based experiences generally exclude transport, and Canggu's lanes are slow at the end of the day.
Surf lessons include the board and rash vest; photos of you on it are usually an extra.
The drag dinner show sells the ticket, not the food. That is stated in the listing and still surprises people.

Our verdict

Book the lesson or the class, not a sightseeing tour. Canggu's value is in the things you can only do here, and the temple day trips it also sells are the same products that Seminyak and Kuta list, at the same prices, from twenty minutes further down the coast.
