Waterbom Bali is a water park on Jalan Kartika Plaza in central Kuta. Its own site says it first opened in 1993 and describes itself as a boutique, botanical waterpark, and Pickyourtrail puts it on 3.8 hectares of tropical landscaping. The home page says there are 28 slides and attractions. Other guides count 26 or “over 20”, so the number varies by source and by which attractions are included.
Tickets and who pays what
Pelago, a reseller, lists separate international and Indonesian-ID passes. Its non-Indonesian passes start from about US$32.60 in low season and US$38.10 at peak, in US dollars rather than rupiah. The pass covers the entire park and all slides. Towel hire, lockers, the FlowRider, photos, spa facilities and gazebo rental are charged separately, as is food. The official page says all bookings are non-refundable. Pelago lists children under 2 as free and requires an adult ticket from age 12.
The slides
One guide, Bali Holiday Secrets (September 2025), lists the thrill rides as Climax, where a trapdoor opens under you, plus Smash Down 2.0, Pipeline, Double Twist, Boomerang and Green Vipers. It describes Constrictor as a 250 metre tube slide and Tailspin as a 140 metre spiral. Pickyourtrail says the lazy river runs for 360 metres through the gardens and describes Python as parallel racing slides, though Bali Holiday Secrets calls it a group raft ride. Bali Holiday Secrets also lists the FlowRider surf machine at an extra IDR 150,000 for 30 minutes, a price that may have changed.
The official site follows international slide standards, and the limits are real. Some bigger slides need a rider above 100 cm, single riders up to 136 kg can use most slides, and over 145 kg there are restrictions. Staff may check weight at the slide entry and can refuse access.
Facilities and the day itself
Payment inside is cashless. The official site sells credit onto a waterproof wristband that it calls a Splashband, from Rp 300,000, and refunds what you do not spend as you leave. Gazebos start at Rp 550,000 for a regular one that fits four to six people, rising to Rp 1,250,000 for the premium Oasis Gazebo. Pickyourtrail says outside food is not permitted.
Bali Holiday Secrets suggests 4 to 6 hours is enough for the main rides, the lazy river and lunch, and says mornings are cooler and the slides emptier. Pickyourtrail says the park is just minutes from Ngurah Rai airport and gives a Grab or Blue Bird fare from the airport of Rp 100,000 to Rp 150,000. The park gives its address as Jl.
